Anjolee Jewelry + Polyvore

Happy Thursday!!!

The past couple of days have been quite busy... I am usually able to make new posts quite regularly, so whenever I miss "blogging time", I feel kind of lost, haha! ;)

But anyway, I am determined to get back on track and I'm gonna start with a review of a necklace I received from Anjolee Jewelry.

A little something about Anjolee Jewelry:

Anjolee was founded in 1977 as a high-end jewelry manufacturer.
The company originally started selling its products to wholesalers and retail
stores and quickly gained recognition as the leading manufacturer of high-end
diamond jewelry. Anjolee’s product line has expanded throughout the years
and includes an extensive collection of bridal jewelry, rings, diamond bracelets,
earrings, necklaces, and pendants.

Anjolee’s jewelry collection can be found in retail stores across the United States, Canada, and on many online websites. In 2008, Anjolee launched its own website, Anjolee, and began selling directly to consumers. That decision allows consumers to purchase directly from the manufacturer, at the best possible prices with faster delivery on all customized orders.

If you are on the lookout for diamond necklacesdiamond anniversary bands, or diamond engagement rings, www.anjolee.com is a good place to start with. They have a wide selection of beautiful pieces of jewelry to choose from. Plus, you can customize your piece to match your personal preferences -- isn't that amazing?! :)

005UPS

Their shipping is incredibly fast!
I received my package a day after I was given my tracking number. :D

015

It came in a blue foil envelope...

018

A white box...

024-1

Another beautiful box... I love how elegant it looks!

And taaa-daaa, here's my Three Prong 3-Stone Pendant Necklace:

031

It's so delicate and so pretty!

044-1

My necklace (sent to me for review purposes) is made of silver and high quality cubic zirconias, but Anjolee sells diamond and gemstone jewelry.

045

I love statement necklaces, but I've also started to appreciate the simple beauty of delicate diamond necklaces.
While I can't afford to buy one with real diamonds just yet, it's good to have this necklace from Anjolee! :D

The thing I love the most about this necklace is its classic design.
It works from day to night and from casual to formal...

I made a Polyvore set in order to give you guys an idea of how the necklace would look like when worn with a casual outfit and with a formal one:

Have you guys bought anything from Anjolee Jewelry?
What do you think of the Three Prong 3-Stone Pendant Necklace? Is it something you are likely to wear?

Yay for Friday!!! And yay for the first day of June!
I wish all of you a wonderful weekend! :)

New Favorite: CoverGirl Cheekers Blush

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a lovely Memorial Day!
I can't believe it's almost June -- we're halfway done with 2012!!! :O

Anyway, I may have mentioned before that I am on the lookout for a new blush.
I've been thinking of getting a NARS blush, but for now, I am happy with my CoverGirl Cheekers Blush. :)

CoverGirl Cheekers Blush in Rose Silk

Photobucket

Blush's basic rules – it has to be easy, and it has to look natural. That's Cheekers. Each portable mini-compact gives you a sheer blush that goes on to stay true and natural-looking for hours. It's the way to glow!

- Award winning natural glow

- Stays on for hours
- Dermatologically tested

Photobucket

How To Apply:

1. Dip brush in blush and blow off any excess.
2. Smile in an exaggerated way and apply a sweep of blush to the lifted part of the cheek.
3. Blend up toward the hairline, ending your sweep below the eyes for a more natural look.

Price: $4.49 at Walgreens

Rose Silk 105

I really love the shade I got -- it gives my cheeks a nice pink color.
This CoverGirl blush is so affordable and the quality is excellent.
It also has a nice and light powdery smell. :)

It does stay on for hours, but at the end of the day, retouching is a must.
It's a good thing that these are so small, they can fit even the smallest clutch.
It also comes with a brush -- the brush is, of course, no match for my favorite blush brush, but it does the job, so I can't really complain. ;)

Another good thing about this blush is they have quite a selection of shades to choose from:

***from www.covergirl.com***

I also have it in Soft Sable 120.
I haven't used it though, but I'm excited to do so -- it's a different shade from what I'm used to.
I'll make a post on that one too once I get around to using it. :)

Have you tried CoverGirl Cheekers Blush before? Which of these shades did you like the most?
What is your favorite blush?

I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

Music: Somebody That I Used To Know -- Gotye feat. Kimbra

Happy Sunday!
I hope you're all having a wonderful day! :)

I've been meaning to do this post for like a month now, but I keep forgetting, haha!

I've heard about Somebody That I Used To Know pretty much everywhere and I always wondered why everyone was talking about it... and then I listened to it, and it got stuck in my head. ;)

It's a really good song, I like it!

And I liked it even more after watching Darren Criss and Matt Bomer's version on Glee:

Same song, whole different meaning! :)
(And how handsome is Matt Bomer???)

I also really liked Elise Testone and Phillip Phillips' version on American Idol:

Quick side note: I am a Phillip Phillips fan! I'm happy he won Idol. :)

Do you like this song?
Thoughts? Opinions?

Happy Friday!!!

It's been a long time since I last made a Food Network Friday post, and today is the perfect day for one because it's a long weekend! ;)

Memorial Day weekend usually equals picnics -- whether at the park or at the beach, it's important to have delicious food! Whenever I get invited to picnic potlucks, I always like to bring dessert... but for a change, I thought it would be nice to bring salad instead, right?!

I know, I know, I don't even eat salad, but these are salads that I will definitely eat, haha! ;)

Review: FRAAS -- The Scarf Company

Happy Wednesday!!!

The weather has been quite hard to dress for lately -- it's chilly in the morning, but so so so hot in the afternoons.
Plus, classrooms and other places tend to be really cold (but hey, air conditioner, I'm not complaining, haha!), so I usually don't know if I should wear a cardigan or not...

The perfect solution? Bring a scarf!
My current go-to scarf is the one I received to review from FRAAS...

A little something about FRAAS:

Scarf producer V. Fraas celebrates more than 130 years in business. Ever since its foundation in 1880 by Valentin Fraas, the world leader for mufflers and shawls has thrived and advanced under the control of his descendants -- a remarkable feat in this transitory world. It is a forward looking company that continues to expand at a rapid pace... From its bases in New York, Paris, London, Wüstenselblitz, Toronto, and Shanghai, V. Fraas' design team travel to major shows and forecasting seminars throughout the globe to identify new trends and develop products that are perfectly attuned to fashion and customer demand.

Photobucket
Yay, package!

The scarf came wrapped in tissue paper:

Photobucket
What a pretty color! ;)

I've always loved leopard-print scarves!
And I love the pink and brown color combination!

Photobucket

Measurement: 28 x 80 inches
Price: $40
Made of: Lightweight acrylic

Photobucket

The scarf is just the right size -- it's not bulky, but it's big enough to wear over your shoulders as a wrap.
Of course, you can also use it as a normal scarf. It is lightweight -- perfect for spring and summer!

It's wrinkle-free, so it's perfect for traveling or to just have on hand -- just leave it in your bag, et voilà, you'll always be ready! ;)

Photobucket
A closer look...

I really, really love the print!
It's something that can work from day to night or from casual to something a bit more dressy. ;)

This scarf comes in three patterns/colors:

Photobucket
classic leopard/ pink/ blue

FRAAS has a wide selection of scarves to choose from (I actually already have a couple of pieces I want to get, haha!) and prices range from 25.95 EUR to 129 EUR -- there is definitely something for everyone's taste and budget.

To see other patterns and designs (and to learn more about FRAAS), visit www.fraas.com/en.

Have you bought a scarf from FRAAS before?
What do you think of this leopard-print design?

The Lucky Guide to SPRING BAGS!

Happy Tuesday! :)

Summer is just around the corner, so I think it's best we continue with Lucky magazine's Spring fashion guide...
next on our list: SPRING BAGS!!!

I think having the right bag is definitely important in completing an outfit -- if my bag doesn't look good with what I'm wearing, I have to change it, haha! ;)

Here is Lucky magazine's guide to Spring bags:

Photobucket

Ladylike satchels, fantastical clutches, colorful carryalls, and other totally thrilling ways to tote your stuff. (Warning: You'll want at least one from each page.)

1. TWO-HANDLED SATCHELS - Elegant but office-ready, they instantly make you look more pulled together.

Photobucket

2. WRISTLET CLUTCHES - On weekends, a cute pouch is really all you need while running around town.

Photobucket

3. LADYLIKE MINIS - Just holding one of these polite little bags makes us stand up straighter.

Photobucket

4. LIGHTWEIGHT KNAPSACKS - A hands-free option for busy afternoons and overnight escapes.

Photobucket

5. WHIMSICAL CLUTCHES - The most glamorous (and kookiest) conversation starters ever.

Photobucket

6. CHEERFUL TOTES - Sophisticated designs and leather details make these surprisingly refined.

Photobucket

I got a new two-handled satchel from Twisted Orchid (review and giveaway to come soon!), so I am good on that one. I have a wristlet clutch and a cheerful tote. I am not too crazy about the whimsical clutches, but I definitely want to get a ladylike mini bag. Oh, and a lightweight knapsack would be perfect for summer sleepovers and spending the day at Disneyland! ;)

Which of these Spring bags do you already have?
Which ones do you need/want to get?

Out And About: Whole Foods

Happy Friday! :)

One of the things I like doing with my Mom and my siblings is grocery shopping.
We usually go to Ralphs or Vons every other weekend.
The last time though, we decided to go to Whole Foods.

Seriously, Whole Foods is amazing!
Yes, their products are quite expensive, but I think it's okay to splurge from time to time, especially if you're getting quality products, right? :)

While I was at Whole Foods, I took some photos with my phone to share with you guys:

Photobucket

Of course, I had to start with cosmetics, haha! ;)

And right across the aisle are more beauty products!!!

Photobucket

I had a hard time deciding which body wash to get...

Photobucket

These coconut oils smell amazing! My favorite was lavender! :)

Photobucket

Burt's Bees toothpaste???
I totally didn't know they made these, how cool!

And then there were soaps...

Photobucket

The choices: Unscented Goat Milk, Rose Petal, Lavender, and Shea Butter.

Photobucket

These are so pretty, huh?

From the beauty products, I made my way to, what else... FOOD! ;D

Photobucket

Now I know where to get chocolates, nuts, and other baking needs. ;)

Photobucket

Chocolate = Heaven!

Photobucket

I love Gruyere cheese!

Photobucket

Cheese, cheese, cheese...

Photobucket

And more cheese!

Aaaah, I love Whole Foods! :D

Where do you shop for groceries?
Any fun plans for the weekend?

However you're spending your weekend, I hope you have a good one! :)
