Just taking a break from this mind-numbing thing called my history paper, haha!
It's always more fun to talk about beauty products, right?! ;)

I love their cute little paper bags! :)

So yup, there we have it... my little Sephora haul. :)
Have you used any of these products before?
What are your recent buys from Sephora or any other beauty store?
I've been meaning to share this product with you guys for quite some time now, but I never seem to have the time... but this weekend, that will change because I am determined to get a lot of things done today, haha! ;)
Get an intense flash of color without dyeing, bleaching, or spending hours in the salon.
HYPERBOLD. HYPERBRIGHT. HYPERCOLOR.
What it is:
For Hair - Intense wipe-on/wash-out hair color.
For Brows - Brush in brow color to match your hyper-style.
Why it's great:
Intensely colored powder is easy to apply to the hair and brows.
Provides an instant flash of neon color to any shade of hair without dyeing or bleaching.
Sets easily with hairspray and lasts until you wash it out.
Our friends over at Anastasia of Beverly Hills sent me some samples to review for you guys. :)
INTENSE color without dyeing or bleaching.
Works on all hair colors.
Most shades perfect for hair and brows.
My first reaction: WOW, these colors are GORGEOUS!!!
I love the bright, happy colors! :)
My friend has been wanting to do something new with her hair, but she's not sure what exactly to do with it.
Luckily, I got these cool hair powders, so she came over and we tried it on her hair...
Instructions for HYPER-HAIR and HYPER-BROW...
You are going to need:
- Anastasia of Beverly Hills HYPERCOLOR™ BROW AND HAIR POWDER
- Leave-in hair conditioner
- Hairspray
- Gloves
- Towel
Before...
It's really important to use gloves and a towel (make sure it's a towel you don't care so much about!) because it can get messy and the color will transfer into your hands or clothing.
1. PREPhair with a light application of glossing cream, styling wax, or leave-in conditioner.
2. SEPARATEyour hair into sections.
3. APPLYcolor by sandwiching your hair in between your fingers or a cosmetic sponge and the HYPERCOLOR BROW & HAIR POWDER compact, gliding the color on.
4. SETwith hairspray, spraying 10-12 inches away from your Hyper-Colored hair and misting lightly.
After...
For first-timers, we were pretty happy with the result.
It just got a tad messy, but we had fun trying it out, haha! ;)
It might be a good idea if they included an applicator of some sort. We didn't use a cosmetic sponge as the instructions recommended, and we should've -- I definitely recommend going that route.
The process sounds easy enough to do, but it was quite hard to actually apply the color into the hair.
The powder goes everywhere (haha!)... I'm thinking it would be easier if it's in liquid form.
I guess it takes time and practice to get it just right.
It only lasted through the night -- when she woke up, the color was pretty much gone.
My friend and I also agreed that it looks better on long wavy hair. ;)
A close-up look...
They are available in five gorgeous colors:
1. Teal Tornado -
2. In The Pink -
3. Mega Watt Green -
4. Ultra Violet -
5. Electric Blue -
Price: $12.50 each
If you have some extra money to spare and if you want to try something new, these are definitely the products to reach for!
They are not for everyone, but if you love these colors and this kind of thing, then you will love this!
The HYPERCOLOR™ Brow and Hair Powders and other Anastasia of Beverly Hills products are available at all Sephora stores and online at www.anastasia.net.
What do you guys think? Is this something you might want to try?
Have you ever bought anything from Anastasia of Beverly Hills before?
I hope you are all having a wonderful start to March!
A couple of weeks ago, I shared with you guys my mini-haul from Anastasia of Beverly Hills and I was also able to review the Kisses On My List set... and for today's post, I just wanted to feature and review Anastasia's Want You To Want Me kit. :)
(To see my "haul"/ makeup charts/ PR Kit, please click here. To read about the Kisses On My List set, please click here.)
Want You To Want Me Kit:
The Want You To Want Me is a kit within a clutch…a nod to the glam and decadence of the 1970s.
This set includes a deluxe eye shadow palette featuring an array of 70s rock inspired shades for a beautiful holiday look.
I love how luxurious the velvet design is! :D
FEATURES & BENEFITS:
- Velvety smooth matte and hydrating Illumin8 shimmer shades keep eyes looking glam and crease-free.
- High-pigment shadows can be worn dry for a sheer wash of color.
Wear wet to transform shadow into liner or for a bold metallic finish.
- Dual-sided eye shadow brush included.
- Jet black liquid eye liner creates the perfect thin line for a dramatic eye.
- Mini Clear Brow Gel sets brows in place all day and night.
The mirrored compact with brush features nine matte and pearlized nude and plum shadows, Liquid Eye Liner, and Mini Clear Brow Gel to turn your eyes into a velvet goldmine.
With shadow tints like Power Ballad, Jellies, Platform Wedge, and Ziggy…how can you go wrong! Toss this gorgeous palette in your clutch for touch-ups wherever your night takes you.
Cool vinyl record-inspired PR Kit featuring the names of the eye shadow colors... :)
I really think Anastasia of Beverly Hills' PR Kits are the best! :D
A close up look at the eye shadow colors:
Top Row (L-R): Platform Wedge, Front Row Center, Ziggy
Middle Row (L-R): Members Only, Power Ballad, Jellies
Bottom Row (L-R): Graphic T's, Brass In Pocket, Iron On
As usual, this eye shadow is really, really excellent!
The colors are beautiful, but not too out there, so this is totally gonna be perfect for makeup newbies and makeup junkies alike.
I also love how versatile these shades are.
It's great that this palette has both light and dark shades = perfect for whatever mood you're in -- neutral, dramatic, or smokey! ;)
This kit comes with a Mini Clear Brow Gel and a Jet Black Liquid Eye Liner.
I think these two products are a really nice addition to the kit! :)
They also provide a dual-sided eye shadow brush.
I don't really use this because I much prefer using my eye shadow brushes, but I think it's good to have a backup brush just in case you are without your regular brushes. :)
This will make such an awesome Christmas gift -- as I mentioned above, I'm sure both makeup newbies and makeup experts will be ecstatic to receive this kit!
The Want You To Want Me kit retails for $34 -- I think that's a really good price, especially considering you get four items in one kit. :)
This kit and all other Anastasia of Beverly Hills products are available at all Sephora stores and online at www.anastasia.net.
What do you guys think? Is this something you might want to buy?

A couple of weeks ago, I shared with you guys my mini-haul from Anastasia of Beverly Hills... and today, I just wanted to feature and review the Kisses On My List Volume 2 lip gloss set for you guys. :)
(To see my "haul", the PR kit, and makeup face charts, please click here.)
Kisses On My List (Volume 2):
The Kisses On My List gloss set features six high-shine glosses in matte and shimmer shades that wear all-day. With three softly sheer, opalescent glosses, and three new Hypercolor Glosses that actually stain your lips…don’t be standing too close to the mistletoe if you don’t want to be kissed!
Cool vinyl record-inspired PR Kit featuring the names of the lip glosses... :)
Each gloss is named after famous 70s muses you won’t soon forget. Lola, Maggie May, Sharona, Roxanne, Jolene, and Moi are sure to inspire your loved one to write a song about you!
Here are the lip glosses:
From left to right:
Lola, Jolene, Sharona, Roxanne, Moi, and Maggie May
These are such pretty colors, don't you think?! ;)
I am really, really happy that I received this gloss set from Anastasia of Beverly Hills -- I am obsessed with lip glosses and these are shades that my current collection lacks.
I absolutely love Anastasia of Beverly Hills lip glosses because they are honestly one of the best ones I've ever tried. They are moisturizing and long-lasting. The silicone applicator is truly an innovation -- they work better than the usual sponge applicators that other lip glosses have. As I've mentioned way back, the silicone applicators do not absorb all the gloss... plus, they also double as precision lip liners!
As with other lip glosses, the color does fade as the day goes on, but there is still color -- all you have to do is retouch and freshen it up a bit. :)
Like the Volume 1 set that debuted last year, this limited edition Kisses On My List Volume 2 gloss set is sure to sell out once again this holiday season -- if you like what you see here, I hope you can grab a kit for yourself!
This will make such an amazing Christmas gift -- I know I'll be ecstatic to receive this, haha! ;)
Another idea: since there are six glosses in one kit, why not share the love?
That's what I did and my sisters couldn't be happier!
The Kisses On My List gloss set retails for $30 -- I think that's an amazing price, that's technically $5 for each lip gloss = a total bargain especially considering that the whole set is a $108 value. :)
Want to get your hands on a gloss set of your own?
The Kisses On My List set is available at all Sephora stores and online at www.anastasia.net.
What do you guys think? Is this something you might want to buy?

A couple of weeks ago, I reviewed the She Wears It Well eye shadow palette from Anastasia of Beverly Hills for you guys... I mentioned that the palette came with exclusive promotional face charts and I promised to share those with you guys on a separate post... and that's exactly what this post is all about! ;)
These face charts are not available at retail, but they are so helpful and so amazing that I'd hate for you guys not to see them. Luckily, Anastasia of Beverly Hills gave me the go-ahead to share these with you guys -- they would love for these face charts to reach as many people as possible! :)
"Color and shading are key, and my palette was designed with both matte and shimmering neutral tones to be able to create anything from a classic matte cat eye to a simple, modern wash of shimmering color for everyday... no matter where or when a girl is from, She Wears It Well." -- Anastasia
1. Onyx: Night Owl -- A Knockout Smokey Eye
2. Frosting: Cat's Meow -- The Perfect Cat Eye
3. Almond: Cut A Rug -- A Classic Cut Crease
4. Foxy: Speakeasy -- A Nighttime Ombre Eye
5. Sunset: Eyes And Dolls -- Anytime Eyes
Cool, right?!
I love how these face charts offer tips on how to get the most out of the She Wears It Well palette. :)
My sisters and I had a blast trying the different looks -- the steps were simple and easy to follow... but of course, it takes practice to master putting on eye makeup.
My favorite looks are Night Owl and Cat's Meow.
My sister's favorite is Speakeasy, while my other sister's are Cut A Rug and Eyes And Dolls.
Three different tastes and styles = one eye shadow palette. ;)
I like all nine shades, but my favorites are Foxy, Onyx, and Frosting.
Foxy -- I just really love the color. It's so rich and so beautiful!
Onyx -- I love how versatile it is, I seem to always need it for different looks.
Frosting -- It's subtle, light, and pretty... perfect for every day!
I meant to do this post earlier today, but things got a little crazy busy... and then I started watching reruns of Laguna Beach(#RetroMTV, anyone?). This drama-filled "reality" show is so bad, but so addicting, haha!
One thing I noticed though is that (besides their less-than-fashionable outfits) they need help in the makeup department...
And then I realized how far I've come myself when it comes to makeup -- I didn't use to care about putting on makeup at all. So thanks to all the makeup bloggers out there, I've really learned a lot! :)
Anyway, speaking of makeup, let's talk about the newest palette from Anastasia of Beverly Hills! :D
I can't get over how cool this black bubble wrap envelope is! ;)
She Wears It Well is Anastasia’s new Hollywood glamour with modern moxie inspired mirrored palette of nine pigment-rich matte and shimmer shadows in nude and neutral shades that impart a sophisticated smolder to the eyes.
How pretty, right?!
It came with exclusive promotional face charts that offer tips on how to get the most use out of the She Wears It Well palette -- they are amazing and so helpful (especially for someone who needs a lot of practice with eye makeup, haha!).
I'll be sharing those face charts with you guys on a separate post, I'm so excited! ;)
But, back to the palette:
She Wears It Well Eye Shadow Palette
(Price: $34)
Classic Hollywood glamour with modern moxie. Nude meets knockout with these nine pigment-rich matte and shimmer shadows that give your eyes enough sophisticated smolder to woo them, every time.
No matter how you wear them, you’re sure to wear them well.
I love the look of the palette's cover -- it's modern, but classic at the same time.
The packaging is beautiful, but just a little difficult to capture in pictures, haha... I hope you can still see how pretty it is from these photos, though. :)
Nine beautiful shades! :)
Nude meets knockout with this pretty palette which offers shades in Trophy, Glow, Latte, Foxy, Sunset, Frosting, Onyx, Almond, andToffee.
No matter how you wear them, you’re sure to wear them well.
Features & Benefits
- Deluxe mirrored compact with professional dual brush that features 9 shadows for day and evening looks.
- Illumin8 formula featuring Youthful Synergy Complex® is clinically proven to illuminate, firm, and hydrate the skin.
- Long-wearing, Crease-Free, Can be worn wet and dry
My sisters and I had a lot of fun playing with this palette.
The colors are so so so beautiful, especially when worn. But of course, take into consideration that at first try, they won't really come out too much yet -- it's like there's one layer you have to get through first.
They come out better when the brush is wet/damp and also when you wear primer.
I love how there are matte and shimmery options -- you can definitely create different looks depending on your mood. You can go from dark smokey eyes to a light breezy look.
For makeup junkies who are experts at putting on eye makeup, the colors of this palette may be too basic.
But for people like me who are trying to test the waters when it comes to eye makeup, this is the perfect palette -- basic, but offers enough colors to cover different looks.
I think this would also be perfect for travel -- it's just the right size and again, the colors are versatile.
The palette comes with this brush -- one end is an eye shadow brush, while the other end is more of a pointed brush (comes in handy if you want to try a cat eye look).
Speaking of a cat eye look, here is a video tutorial from Anastasia of Beverly Hills:
Pretty, right?! :)
