OASAP: Turtleneck Batwing Sleeved Belted Sweater and Teardrop Pattern Necklace + Outfit

Happy Sunday!

I've mentioned a couple of times how my busy school and work schedule has taken a huge amount of time away from blogging... and as promised, every change I get, I blog! ;)

So right now, I want to show you guys the amazing items I got from OASAP:

Let's talk about the necklace first...

The set features a layered necklace and teardrop earrings.
The necklace with adjustable clasp. The earrings with post backs.

This necklace design has been going around for some time now, and I finally got one!
I was gonna go for a yellow, but I was like, hey I think it's time to go for something new -- so turquoise it is! ;)

It's really pretty and it goes with basically everything -- I always get compliments every time I wear this necklace = LOVE!

Price: $16.77
NOW: $10.06

Also available in: Blue, Black, Coral, Hot Pink, Light Blue, White, and Yellow

And now, the sweater...

The warm whole color sweater featuring a turtleneck, short batwing sleeves, loose waist with belt embellishment. In a regular fit.

When I saw this sweater on OASAP's website, it was love at first sight!

It just looked to me like a sweater that is flattering for everyone, and I was right!
I'm usually a little iffy about ordering one size items online, but this one is a winner! :)

I love how the batwing sleeves balance out the sweater's turtleneck.
I wear this sweater on days when it's cold but not really, haha! ;)
You can also wear a black long-sleeved shirt under for when it gets really cold.

As if I didn't already love it enough, they added this really flattering belt... tying the sweater will give you a sleeker, more polished look!

Price: $35.90

Also available in: Brown

The rest of my outfit...

I wore my sweater with my black Mari leggings from BCBG (where I work, by the way!!!)... I also wore it with simple embellished black ballet flats. :)

FRAAS: Fall/Winter 2013 Scarf Collection

Happy Saturday!
Can you guys believe it's November?! :O

Now that the weather is starting to cool down, it's time to start wearing scarves...
Fortunately, FRAAS sent me a new style from their Fall/Winter 2013 collection:

This scarf is an ideal style to celebrate the new season.

It reverses so that two distinctive looks are possible...

Side #1 and...

Side #2! :)

Price: $40

It is a super-soft mix of viscose and acrylic and is 14x72 inches.
It is an excellent style for gifting or self-purchase.

Here are snaps of me wearing my new, very versatile scarf:

One scarf, two different looks!

The thing I love the most about this scarf is how versatile it is.
You can go all black with one side, or add a bit of color with the other.
It's not super thick, so you can use it in between seasons.

Now, for the cons... my deal with this is I like my scarves thick and chunky. :(
This scarf is neither and I wish it was... but that is really a matter of preference, so it doesn't take away from the quality of this scarf. :)

It comes in four flattering shades:

Petrol, Dark Red, Purple, and Black.

You can find FRAAS products worldwide via department and specialty stores as well as from online retailers.
You can order from the company by calling 212-575-0191. Select styles are available on www.fraas.com and www.amazon.com.

What do you think of this reversible scarf? Which of these colors caught your eye the most?
Have you bought anything from FRAAS before?

I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

Savvy Sleepers: Satin Pillow Cases

Happy Tuesday! :)

Dale from www.savvyspice.com has been a blog friend of mine for as long as I can remember, so when she asked me if I wanted to receive a Savvy Sleepers press pack from her line of satin pillowcases, I immediately said yes!

First off, here's a little something about Savvy Sleepers straight from Dale:

Being super busy with responsibilities of a full-time job, blogging, styling, and boy drama, I wasn't getting the best of sleep, tossing and turning all night, waking up with big 80's hair, my aunt Jean, who is a hair stylist said, "You should really sleep on a satin pillowcase instead of cotton. It's healthier for your hair and will keep it from breaking. Your hair will be smoother in the morning."

Dale researched satin and she created a sample case with a hidden patent-pending 4" x 4" pocket that is highly efficient for sleeping soundly through the night. She also tested nearly 200 samples of satin against her skin and hair, and she found the most luxurious blend in the richest shades. :)

I love the personalized feel of Savvy Sleepers' packaging -- the cute sticker logo is a nice touch and how cute are those candies?!

You can see that Dale and the whole Savvy Sleepers team really put a lot of care into their products -- look how nice their box is!
I love it!

I'm excited to show you guys my new pillowcase! :)

So, let's get on with it...

Their pillowcases come in three different colors: White (Divinity), Neutral (Nappucino), and Black (Night Knight).

I chose the color Nappucino because it's the one closest to the shade of my pillowcases. :)

Everything about this press pack is just so professional -- big cheers for Dale and Savvy Sleepers!

Here is my pillowcase:

Aaaahhh, just looking at the picture is making me want to sleep, haha! ;)

Pure neutral satin pillowcase smoother for hair & skin.

It's really comfortable and I love it!
I never thought the material of your pillowcase matters, but getting my Savvy Sleepers pillowcase totally changed that!

I sleep better and I wake up better...
I don't wake up with crazy hair or weird marks on my face anymore -- actually, now that I really think about it, I've been waking up to good hair days for the past few weeks... so amazing!

A closer look...

These pillowcases also have a bonus secret pocket... yup, you read that right -- a secret pocket!!!

A secret pocket for Chapstick, mint, or whatever else you need -- so clever!

Price: $36

It's a bit more pricey than your average pillowcase, but it's definitely worth it!
I've been regularly washing my pillowcase and it still looks the same as it did on the day I opened my package.
It is of high quality and it does wonders. :)

Dale made a very special coupon code for you, my lovely readers... get your very own Savvy Sleepers pillowcase for 15% off!

Use the code: Mimi
Valid until November 15th

Thanks so much to Dale and Savvy Sleepers for sending me this awesome pillowcase -- you have made sleeping all the more heavenly!

To learn more about Savvy Sleepers, please click here.
You can also keep up to date with them through TwitterFacebookPinterest, and YouTube.

What do you guys think?
Will you be switching over to satin?

I hope you are all enjoying the last days of October! ;)

Happy Sunday/ Monday!

I know, I know, I've been missing in action for quite some time now, sorry!
I'm currently super busy with school and work, but I am trying my hardest to squeeze in some quality blogging time -- I miss you guys!!!

So for today, I want to share with all of you four gorgeous nail colors from SinfulColor's new collections: Crystal Crushes and Leather Luxe...

Ruby Mine and Face the Facets from Crystal Crushes/ My Turn and Leather Loose from Leather Luxe

Sparkle and glimmer this fall with SinfulColors™ shade collection: CRYSTAL CRUSHES.
It is a brilliant collection of gem-inspired nail polish shades with multifaceted 3D texture. Gorgeous matte colors flecked with a reflective pearl finish sure to dazzle your digits and make your heart skip a beat.

Tease, taunt, and turn heads this fall with the SinfulColors™ LEATHER LUXE collection.
A texture rich, trend-setting collection of stylish matte finish nail polish shades which are richly pigmented to provide a flirtatious way to flaunt your style.

Here are swatches of the four colors I received:

CRYSTAL CRUSHES:
The Crystal Crushes collection features eight vivid shades sprinkled with an angel dust finish.

1. Ruby Mine -- Ravishing Red
I thought it was going to be a classic red, but it's actually more on the lighter side.
It's a fun color to use if you want to bring more of Summer into Fall. :)

2. Face the Facets -- Banana Bling
I don't have a good yellow nail polish, so I chose this one.
I really, really like it because it's not the usual "hurts your eyes" kind of yellow.

The colors from this collection are:

Got A Blush On You -- Flirty Fuchsia
Blue Persuasion -- Sapphire-ed Up!
Orange Crush -- Twinkling Tangerine
Treasure Chest -- Sea Worthy Bling
Emerald Envy -- A Glint of Green
Purple Gleam -- Glistening Lavender
Ruby Mine -- Ravishing Red
Face the Facets -- Banana Bling

Price: $2.99
Available exclusively at Walgreens for Fall 2013.

LEATHER LUXE:
The Leather Luxe collection features seven weather-warming shades with leather-inspired finishes. The best part: they come in every popular base color, so there's a leather-icious look for everyone.

3. My Turn -- Stunning Steel
I've always wanted to get a gray shade of nail polish, so I decided to go for this one... I love the matte finish!

4. Leather Loose -- Safari Sinful Brown
I chose this for the same reason... I need a nice brown shade of nail polish.
I am really loving the glittery matte look of this particular shade.

The colors from this collection are:

Laced Up -- Enthralling Orange
Leather Loose -- Safari Sinful Brown
Whipped -- Beguiling Black
Get It On -- Bravely Berry
Strapped -- Scintillating Seafoam
My Turn -- Stunning Steel
Cold Leather -- Enchanting Night Sky

OASAP: Cutout Batwing Sleeve Sweater + Outfit

Happy Saturday!!! :D

Remember when I told you guys that I received two items from OASAP?
It's time to talk about item #2! :)

The second thing I chose from OASAP's wide selection is this:

Whole color cutout sweater featuring a scoop neckline, long cuffed sleeve, front patched pockets, and a curved hemline in a loose fit.

Price: $39.90 NOW: $29.93
One Size: Sleeve -- 60cm, Length -- 58cm, Bust -- 106cm

This is how I wore my Cutout Batwing Sleeve Sweater:

I wore it on a regular day -- just hanging out and running errands here and there.

It was one of those days with weird weather -- cool in the morning and hot in the afternoon... so I paired my sweater with shorts and I decided not to wear a tank top underneath -- hey, it was Summer anyway! ;)

It's a really cute sweater and I love how easy it is to wear with different outfits for different seasons!

I would normally wear a tank top underneath it, but I wasn't really going anywhere formal and it was hot, so I decided to just go for it and wear my yellow bra -- I think it definitely added a summer-y vibe to the outfit. :)

Oh, and remember when I told you guys that I am obsessed with batwing sleeves?
Yup, here we go, another batwing sleeved top, haha!

The details:

Scoop Neckline

Front Patched Pocket

Long Cuffed Sleeve

A close-up of the knit detail...

Other parts of my outfit:

I tucked my sweater into my white New York & Company shorts...

I wore my yellow H&M sneakers to make the look more casual...

Accessories:

My current favorite necklace and...

...my white watch.

I really like this sweater and I am so excited to style it for Fall!!! ;)

I chose the color black because I want to be able to wear it to work (haha!), but it is also available in:

white, cream, khaki, and orange. :)

To learn more about OASAP and to shop (Of course, haha!), please click here.
You can also keep up to date with them through TwitterFacebookPinterestBlogger, and Tumblr.

What do you guys think of this Cutout Batwing Sleeve Sweater?
Have you bought anything from OASAP before?

I wish you all a wonderful weekend and a happy Fall!!! :D
