My other summer purchases. :D

The other day, I made a post about the dresses I have bought over the course of a couple of months. Today, I want to share with you some other items I got from some of my favorite stores. :)

Striped yellow shirt. (Old Navy, $1o)

3/4 sleeves button down shirt. (Forever21, $11.50)

Ruffled top. (Forever21, $9.99)

Floral tank top (Forever 21, $5.99)

Striped, ruffled sleeve shirt (Forever21, $13.80)

Black "capelet" (Forever21, $10.99)

I got some of these on sale. Sorry, I don't have their actual prices!

A few of my planned blog posts for the coming days are:

  • My birthday gifts - My sister and brother-in-law gave me a lot of beauty items for my birthday. I can't wait to share them with all of you. I just have to fix the pictures. And of course, I will be doing a review on them as soon as I can.
  • I baked bread, kind of from scratch yesterday. I used a prepared mixture from a box, but I call it "kind of from scratch" because it was a different experience because I've never actually tried baking bread. ;)
  • Breee from http://vivalabreee.blogspot.com/ tagged me to answer 8 questions of hers. :)

I hope you all come back to my blog to check out my new posts. Thanks! And have a good Wednesday night! :D

Polyvore: Disneyland outfit and Aveeno contest :D

My family and I are planning to go to Disneyland sometime this summer. The last time I went was over a year ago for Grad Nite, May of my senior year. :D

I made a Polyvore outfit of what I would love to wear when we do go to Disneyland this summer.

I would most definitely wear shorts because of the weather, and it is easier to move and walk around when wearing shorts than jeans. A tank top is a must because we don't want any sleeves tan line. ;) I would wear a cute bikini top to add fun to the outfit. Sneakers are comfy. A sling bag is ideal to carry around your essentials. The only piece of jewelry I would wear are probably earrings. :D

What do you think of this outfit? What is your ideal "Disneyland" or theme park outfit?

Another thing, check out http://www.freebeautyevents.com/ to enter a contest and get a chance to win Aveeno Lifting & Firming Cream, Night Cream, and Daily moisturizer with SPF 30. You have until July 31st to enter.

They also have free beauty events and product reviews. :)

I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday! :D
Oh, and I've also noticed that many of your comments and my replies have disappeared from my blog. Hopefully, they come back soon.

Happy 4th of July and Happy Birthday to me! :D

Happy 4th of July, everyone!

I hope you all have a good celebration with your family and friends! Enjoy! :D

It is also my birthday today! It is pretty cool to celebrate along with the rest of America. I especially love the fireworks. :D

I am now in my twenties. : / Pretty scary, if you ask me. Part of me is excited, and yet part of me wants to be "forever yooooouuuunnnnggg".

Any advice/stories about being in your twenties? :D

Have a great 4th of July, everyone! :D

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer

I LOVE HARRY POTTER. I LOVE IT.

I would say that I can be counted as one of the millions (or should I say billions?) of Harry Potter fans in the world. The books are beyond amazing, J.K. Rowling is a genius. The movies have done very, very well in the box office for almost 10 years. In my opinion, the books and the movies are classics - they will be read and watched by generations to come.

Here is the trailer for the first installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:

I am so so so so excited to see this movie. No kidding, I get goosebumps everytime I watch this trailer. My throat gets all itchy and I feel like I want to cry. No joke. Dramatic as it may sound, but it's true. :)

Are you a Harry Potter fan too? Excited for the movie?

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's a long weekend, woot woot!!! :D

Clearasil and Veet products

A couple of weeks ago I received a package from http://www.freebeautyevents.com/. They gave me 2 Clearasil products and 1 Veet product.

A package! Yay! :D

Clearasil Ultra Vanishing Acne Cream, Veet Hair Removal Cream, Clearasil Face Wash

The acne cream works well for me. Whenever I feel a new pimple growing (oh, how I hate that!), I wash my face and apply this cream to any affected areas. I leave it on the whole day (that is if I stay home the whole day, haha) and the whole night. Usually it dries up the pimple fast, unless it's a pretty big one, then it takes about two days. I have to say, it is effective.

I actually haven't used the Veet hair removal cream. One random fact: I don't shave my legs. I know it sounds weird/gross, but yup, I don't because I don't really have to. I don't know why. :/ But I do want to hear what you guys think of this product, this brand or another. :)

The face wash is good too. It's really foamy, so a little goes a long way. It may not be the best face wash, but rest assured, it does it's job well. It doesn't dry up my face, so that's good. :)

Any thoughts on these products?

Once again, I encourage you guys to visit http://www.freebeautyevents.com/. You can enter your zip code to find out what makeover, gift with purchase, spa open houses, and sampling events are happening near you. They also have product reviews and monthly contests. :D

Have a great weekend, everyone! :)

Movie: Bride Wars

Bride Wars: Came out in 2009. Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.

A story about best friends who get engaged, and accidentally get booked for a wedding on the same day, at the same place and time. Uh oh.

Chick flick. Predictable. Yes.
But definitely fun to watch. Something I never get tired of watching over and over again. I love this movie. :D

"My hair is blue! IT'S BLLLLUUUUEEE!!!"
One of my favorite lines from the movie. :)

Have you seen Bride Wars? Did you like it? :)
