L'Bri Body Wash Review

Happy Monday!

How was your weekend?

A couple of weeks ago I shared with you two of the four L'Bri products I got from a giveaway. Today, I am going to feature product #3: L'Bri Body Wash.

Gently cleanse away impurities and pamper your skin with vitamins, botanicals and softening moisturizers. Our wash is Sulfate free and is so safe it can be used even on the delicate, sensitive skin of babies. ($13.75)

Photobucket

Ideal for bath or shower, this enriched body wash gently cleanses away impurities as it pampers the skin with vitamins, botanicals, and softening moisturizers. Leaves the skin feeling smooth, clean, and refreshed.

Directions: Pour onto a sponge or washcloth. For a luxurious skin softening bath, add to running water.

I like this body wash because it really cleanses my skin - you can really feel it - after using this, my skin feels soft and smooth. It smells great, it's so relaxing - the scene that comes to my mind is of me getting a massage by the ocean in Hawaii or something (sadly, without the massage). :/

I wish it was more sudsy, though. I have to put a lot on my body wash puff to get the bubbles I want. I did hear, however, that the less suds a body wash or soap produces, the better. Is that true?

Another thing is the price. At $13.75, it is more expensive than most more-known body wash brands. But, I guess it is worth it if you take how it's all-natural into consideration.

Have you tried this body wash? Is it something you would consider trying?

**If you're interested in L'Bri products, tell me in a comment and I will get back to you with how to purchase them. :)**

Flashback Friday: Barbie

Happy Friday, everyone! :D

A little more than a week ago, I went to Toys R Us with my Mom to buy some gifts for her friend's granddaughters. I haven't been in a toy store in years! It was crazy, I remember how much fun I used to have at Toys R Us and FAO Schwartz. :D

So, for a Flashback Friday post, let's take a look back at our favorite childhood toys. Mine is, without a doubt, Barbies. :) What about you?

Photobucket

Dancing Princess Barbie

When I was a little girl, I used to drag my parents to toy stores every week to buy a new Barbie. I had tons of Barbie dolls - and I loved them all! :)

One time, I cried really hard because my older sister decided that Barbie's makeup was too light - she then proceeded to give my Barbie a makeover using colored markers. Oh, and you know how you're not supposed to brush Barbie's hair (yes, even if they come with those plastic brushes)? Yup, my sister wanted to change Barbie's hairstyle... hahaha, oh those days... ;)

Photobucket

Bride Barbie and Groom Ken

I think almost every girl I know played "wedding" with bride Barbie and groom Ken. My sisters and I did - we even forced our little brother to be Ken. Hahahahaha! ;D

Besides bride Barbie, I also had a ballerina Barbie, mermaid Barbie, fairy Barbie, teacher Barbie, doctor Barbie... I can go on and on.

Photobucket

Bed to Breakfast Barbie set

I also had a bed for my Barbie, and little tables and chairs, and other accessories. :)

Photobucket

Zoo Doctor Barbie

Here is one of the "career" Barbies. I remember my favorite was my fashion designer Barbie. :)

I also went to http://www.toysrus.com/ to see what other Barbie items they had. Aaaaahhhh, I felt like a little kid again, getting excited over pretty Barbie dolls and her stuff.

This Barbie is going to Ken's birthday party - you can see the gift she's holding is for Ken.

Her hair and her earrings are gorgeous!

Nice mermaid style gown, Barbie!

I am drooling over Barbie's Louboutins! Especially that shiny pair!

If only doing the laundry looks as cute as that. ;)

Maybe kitchen Barbie inspired my love for baking... :)

Barbie's refrigerator

It doesn't look anything like a fridge, but look how cute the soda bottles, milk carton, and the eggs are!

Look at her pink body wash puff! Cute!

Oh, and besides Barbies, I also played with doll babies. Haha. Did you?

You know those dolls that cry (like the one pictured below), drink milk, and whose eyes close when they "sleep"?

Photobucket

Haha, it's funny to see a toddler carrying around a fake baby. I probably looked funny back then. ;)

Share with us your favorite childhood toys and the stories behind them! :D

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Happy Thursday! :D

Happy Thursday!

I am experiencing a lazy day today. :/
It's cold and gloomy, and I don't have school tomorrow = all I wanna do is cuddle up on the couch with my cozy blanket and watch Grey's Anatomy episodes I missed. Haha. ;)

School is going great. I had my first Math test today - it went well. :) My professors are nice and I have a pretty good schedule. Yay!

I have a lot of photos to be used for future blog posts - I just have to go through them and edit them. ;) I will be blog-hopping tomorrow. :) Right now, I'll leave you guys with these beautiful images and messages:

They're beautiful! :D

Anything is POSSIBLE! :D

be HAPPY! :D

Take a POSITIVE thought! :D

I am now off to the kitchen to bake Cream Cheese Swirl Blondies - and then later tonight I am going to watch American Idol, Grey's Anatomy, and The Mentalist. ;)

Have a good Thursday night! :D

Wedding: Nicole Richie and Joel Madden

Happy Wedding Wednesday! :D

It's been quite a while since I last made a celebrity wedding post, so here we are. :)

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden tied the knot on December 11, 2010 at her father's Beverly Hills Estate.

The bride wore a high-neck, Grace Kelly inspired, lace Marchesa wedding dress.

It looks like a ballerina costume! And her bouquet of white flowers was absolutely beautiful! :)

She also had their names embroidered on her lace sleeve.

They danced their first dance to What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. And Nicole donned two more outfits - besides her wedding gown - for her big day.

The wedding had a Versailles and winter theme (I've read that winter is Nicole's favorite season - perhaps that's why she named her daughter Harlow Winter Kate...)

They said their vows under two entwined trees covered with white hydrangeas.

The reception was held on a tent (which stood over the pool!) that featured hand-painted floors. They had antique chandeliers and a wall lined with mirrors.

They served butternut squash ravioli, beef au jus with truffle mushroom risotto, and seared ahi tuna with chive wasabi cream. Yum!

They had a red velvet wedding cake...

I loooove red velvet! But the cake's design... I'm not too sure if I like it. What about you?

Their daughter, Harlow, was the flower girl. Their son, Sparrow, was the ring bearer. So cute!

Their 155 guests were greeted by Tai, a 47-year-old elephant - a symbol of good luck. :)

I think they had a beautiful wedding. I love seeing Nicole Richie happy and settled. She looks like a really devoted Mom to her two kids. Paris Hilton should seriously look to her for some inspiration, haha. ;P

What did you think of Nicole and Joel's wedding?

53rd Grammy Awards and Happy Valentine's Day! :D

Happy Monday and Happy Valentine's Day!

The 53rd Grammy Awards was held last night at the Staples Center. Let's take a look at what the celebrities wore. :)

Jewel - The mom-to-be looked glowing and beautiful in this pale yellow Pamella Roland gown. I love her cocktail ring!

Selma Blair - Another gorgeous mom-to-be! I love how chic and stylish, but comfy-looking, this dress is.

Lea Michele - I like this look more than her SAG Awards one. She shows about the same amount of cleavage in this Pucci gown, but this time it doesn't seem like she's about to have a wardrobe malfunction at any moment, so yay! ;) Maybe a different hairstyle, though?

Miley Cyrus - At first, I didn't like this look. But looking at it again, now I kinda do. The whole ensemble - the hair, the Roberto Cavalli dress, and stacked bangles - looks young and fun.

Selena Gomez - This is the opposite of Miley's young and fun vibe. I am not a fan of either of them, but usually I like Selena's fashion choices more than Miley's... not this time, though. I think this look is a little too old for her.

Nicole Kidman - I think it's okay. Nothing too special about it.

Jennifer Lopez - Gorgeous legs! And I'm loving her Christian Louboutin heels. Maybe if we can lengthen her Pucci mini-dress just a teensy bit...

Ciara - Okay... I think this dress is pretty and it looks great on her, but I wish her slit was wayyyyyy lower than that, or maybe even no slit at all. The top already shows enough.

Kim Kardashian - Most definitely not her best. I feel like one tug, and her Franco Kaufman dress will be lying around her feet on the red carpet.

Katy Perry - I know a lot of people don't like this Armani creation... I'm not gonna wear something like it, but this is Katy Perry - I expected something eccentric from her, and eccentric this dress is.

*I love the wedding clips they showed when she performed.* :)

Rihanna - Yay for her tamed hair! But the Jean Paul Gaultier gown? No. It reminds me of a loose thread... you know how you're not supposed to pull on it? That's what I think of this dress, like if someone steps on the train, the whole dress will unravel. And I spent some time squinting at the TV trying to make sure Rihanna was wearing something underneath the dress. Haha.

Lady Gaga - This is just too weird for me... honestly, I think it's getting old. I know that's her thing, but seriously, "incubating inside an egg until her performance"???!!! Seriously?!

"Oh, Johnny Depp got a haircut... wait, what on earth is Johnny Depp doing at the Grammy's? Oh my gosh, that's not Johnny Depp, it's John Mayer!"

That was my train of thought upon seeing John Mayer.

Whose red carpet look did you like the best? Whose did you not like at all?

And of course, I wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

White by Vera Wang

Happy Friday! :)

This week has been pretty long and tiring for me because Spring semester started on Monday. I've got some school work to do (eeeeeeek), but blogging is still high on my list. ;) I was really going to tell you guys all about school and stuff, but that's boring, who would want to hear about that, huh? Maybe some other time...

ASOS :)

Hey, everyone!

How's your week going?

I've heard all about ASOS from a lot of our fellow bloggers, and I keep trying to remind myself to go and check it out.... but alas, I always forget. Then one day, while I was going through a magazine, I saw this:

Photobucket

And I was like, "Ummm, okay, I definitely have to go check it out... NOW!" So I did, and I even scanned this spread. ;)

Here are some of the pieces that caught my eye:

1. A/Wear Striped Box Tee, $28.69

2. ASOS Piqued Chelsea Scalloped Shift Dress, $80.69

Look at the back! :)

3. ASOS PETITE Knot Waist Shift Dress, $71.72

4. ASOS Longer Length Tailored Belted Shorts, $53.79

I actually like this whole outfit! :)

5. Mardi Jeudi Pleat Short Sleeve Shirt, $215.16

6. ASOS Belted Tunic, $53.79

7. Vero Moda Double Breasted Striped Knit Cardigan, $68.13

8. ASOS Textured Lampshade Skirt, $53.79

9. ASOS Faux Croc Day Bag, $62.76

10. ASOS Wide Brim Fedora Hat, $44.83

Sigh, I wish I could get them all... Haha.

;)

Anyways, I love their pieces. And I love how they have a Petite line! However, you know me and my bargain-loving ways, so I am a bit too unsure about the price... like $44.83 for a fedora hat?

Have you ordered anything from ASOS? Are they worth the price?
