Weekend Randoms! :)

Happy Saturday!
I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

I just wanted to share some random photos with you guys:

My Dad was reading The Wall Street Journal.

Photobucket

I tried to read it too, but this one was more interesting:

Special Double Issue People magazine with Bradley Cooper on the cover!

Photobucket

Bradley Cooper was crowned The Sexiest Man Alive, and a lot of people kinda got angry because they think it should've been Ryan Gosling.

As much as I love Mr. Gosling, I think Bradley Cooper does deserve his new title.
What do you think?

Oh, and have you guys heard Bradley speak fluent French?
Fluent French!!! Wow!

Amazing! :D

I also just painted my nails using Dr.'s Remedy's SERENE Silver Glitter (a full review to come soon!), but in the meantime I just wanted to share with you guys my nails from two weeks ago:

e.l.f. -- Cranberry

Photobucket

My nails are short, haha! ;)

I hope you guys are having a fantastic weekend!

Wedding [Wednesday]: Most Beautiful Brides of 2011

I am writing this sentence right at 11:55pm, so technically that's still Wednesday, haha! ;)
I was really planning to post this for Wedding Wednesday; however, I got busy.
But hey, it's never too late, right?

The year is almost over, so I thought it'd be nice to round up the most beautiful brides of 2011 (this is according to my opinion, of course).

Many couples tied the knot this year -- all the brides and their dresses were absolutely beautiful, but it would be sooooo difficult to go through all of them. And that is why I decided to feature my favorite brides of the year
(I'm thinking I'll make a list of my top 5 2011 weddings for next time). ;)

So, let's start:

1. HRH The Duchess of Cambridge -

You can't talk about 2011 brides and not mention Her Royal Highness.

Duchess Catherine wowed the world when she stepped out in her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress.

The Grace Kelly-inspired dress featured hand-cut English lace and French Chantilly lace. The lace appliqué for the bodice and skirt was hand-made by the Royal School of Needlework.

Individual flowers have been hand-cut from lace and hand-engineered onto ivory silk tulle to create a unique and organic design, which incorporates the rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock. The dress is made with ivory and white satin gazar. The skirt echoes an opening flower, with white satin gazar arches and pleats. The train measures two metres, 70 centimetres. The ivory satin bodice, which is narrowed at the waist and padded at the hips, draws on the Victorian tradition of corsetry and is a hallmark of Alexander McQueen’s designs. The back is finished with 58 gazar and organza covered buttons fastened by Rouleau loops. The underskirt is made of silk tulle trimmed with Cluny lace.

Beautiful!

Check out the royal wedding here.

2. Dylan Lauren -

If you were Dylan Lauren and your father is legendary designer Ralph Lauren, I think you'd ask your Dad to design your wedding dress too. ;)

Ralph Lauren went through multiple sketches before coming up with the perfect design for his only daughter: a georgette embroidered wedding gown, handmade with duchesse satin and silk tulle.

Simply gorgeous!

3. Lauren Bush-Lauren -

If your father-in-law is Ralph Lauren, then you'd ask him to design your wedding dress too, right?! Yes!

When Lauren Bush married David Lauren, she wore a gorgeous gown that featured long lace sleeves and a high neck. She finished her stunning wedding look with a long veil and wrap around headband.

The top layer of the dress consisted of antique ivory tulle that was embellished with silk and metallic thread, following a Renaissance-era scroll design that took a team of 100 over 3,000 hours to sew.

Breathtaking!

4. Molly Sims -

The model and actress wore the "Isadora" wedding gown from Marchesa when she married Scott Stuber this past September.

The drop-waist lace sheath gown, from the Spring 2012 collection, has a flare lace skirt and appliquéd cascade sleeves. There are buttons up the back and a sheer lace-trimmed overlay at the neckline.

Love it!

5. America Ferrera -

America looked gorgeous in her Amsale's Christos wedding gown!

The ivory strapless dropped waist gown has a lace bodice and tiered pleated tulle skirt.
It is made of French corded lace and tulle.

She wore her hair pulled back with a beautiful lace veil.

Soooo happy for her!

6. Reese Witherspoon -

Reese wore a custom-designed, blush-colored Monique Lhuillier creation.
It has a Chantilly lace corset bodice, a full tulle A-line skirt, adorned with a double-face silk satin ribbon with cascading silk flowers that matched her daughter (and maid-of-honor), Ava's dress.

So radiant!

Check out Reese's wedding to Jim Toth here.

7. Jetsun Pema, Queen of Bhutan -

Can you say royal wedding mania?!
Bhutan welcomed a new queen when 21-year old Jetsun Pema married 31-year old King Jigme.

Isn't this picture the cutest thing ever?!
Even though it is traditional for them to take on multiple wives, the king announced that Jetsun Pema will be his only wife -- awwww!

Their wedding attire is so colorful and so pretty!

The bride ordered several elaborate kiras, the national dress for Bhutanese women, from among prominent weavers in the country. She chose one of these kiras, which are woven from raw silk and can take months to complete, as her wedding gown. She wore a light yellow tego and a kira colored red, yellow, green and white, along with red earrings to match her red wonju.

The King, on the other hand, wore a rose patterned yellow silk gho (the same one worn by his father and grandfather when they got married).

I love her shoes!

I think Queen Jetsun is beautiful!
She seems so poised and she looks every bit the queen that she is -- not your typical 21-year old, very impressive!

There you have it, these are the most beautiful brides of 2011 for me.
I guess you can kinda predict which 2011 weddings belong in my top 5, haha! ;)

Do you agree with my choices?
In your opinion, who are the most beautiful brides of this year?

got2b Guardian Angel Gloss Finish Flat Iron Balm

Happy Monday! :)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I spent mine trying to practice new hairstyles -- I rarely use flat or curling irons because I'm scared of the damage it will do to my hair. And that is why I am so happy to find got2b's

Guardian Angel Gloss Finish Flat Iron Balm.

Photobucket

$5.99 @ Walgreens

Formulated with proven 425°F heat protection plus patented combined styling support. There's no more need to go any hotter. You crave the stick straight styles, but it's such hard work, and oh, the damage done...

This flat iron straightening balm:

-Moisturizes and insulates your hair from flat iron frying
-Provides long-lasting sleek, frizz-free locks with luminous shine effects
-Forget the styling sins of the past, your hair's flat-out invincible now

Directions:
Hold bottle 8" - 10" from hair. Spray dry hair in sections prior to flat ironing. If spray nozzle clogs, run under hot water.

This is a really great product to have, especially if you flat iron your hair often.
And it also works well with curling irons and hair dryers.

It smells good.
It makes my hair soft and shiny -- I can really tell that it does its job.
It leaves just a little bit of residue on my flat iron (which is good).

The only negative thing about this flat iron balm that I can think of is I had a bit of a hard time opening the cap -- be careful! I almost spilled mine, haha. ;)

I have naturally straight hair and sometimes there's really no need for me to flat iron it -- because of that I can't really say for sure if it makes straightening your hair easier (since it's relatively easy for me).
BUT, I've read many reviews that say this product does make straightening wavy/curly hair so much easier -- it makes your hair sleek and easy to manage.

Right now, I am loving this flat iron balm.
And I think it's worth a try -- it works well and is so affordable! :)

Have you used got2b's Guardian Angel Gloss Finish Flat Iron Balm? How did it work for you?
What brand do you use?

Have a great week, guys! :D

New Stylish Stars of Fall TV! :D

Yay for the weekend! :D

I think this season's new TV lineup is one of the most successful ones we've seen in a while.
There were a lot of new TV shows that became instant favorites.
My nights are now filled with TV shows to watch... thank God for DVR and Hulu, haha. ;)

Besides looking forward to what's gonna happen next, I find myself looking forward to what the characters are gonna wear!

Here are the stylish characters I am loving from my new favorite TV shows:

1. Hart of Dixie -

Arguably, the most stylish doctor ever: Zoe Hart.

The people of Bluebell hate her shorts, but I love them!

Zoe seems to have feelings for town lawyer George Tucker, but I am definitely on Team Wade!

The other stylish girl from Bluebell that I love: Southern-sweetheart Lemon Breeland.

I love how Jaime King portrays Lemon -- she's a girl you'd hate ('cuz she's mean to Zoe), but you can't help but love her nonetheless because there's so much more to her than her snooty persona.

Plus, I love her sweet and girly style!

She's engaged to George Tucker, but I want her to end up with ex-football player and now-Bluebell mayor Lavon Hayes. (Sorry, George!)

2. Ringer -

Bridget Kelly, posing as her wealthy twin sister Siobhan Martin, now has access to an amazing closet!

Besides those gorgeous clothes, Bridget has also won the affection of her sister's estranged husband, self-made millionaire Andrew Martin (but he thinks she's Siobhan, so that's a big problem).

I really really really want Bridget and Andrew to end up together, though.

3. New Girl -

Everyone's favorite adorkable roommate, Jess, has really cute clothes!

I really loooove Jess' bright-colored ballet flats!
And I want Zooey Deschanel's hair!

4. Revenge -

Emily VanCamp as Amanda Clarke/ Emily Thorne makes getting revenge look so easy!

Emily has a laidback and casual beach style.
When it's time for her to attend those Hamptons soirees, Emily breaks out her dresses.

I looove this dress she wore to a Fourth of July party:

Her best friend, Ashley, also has the most amazing clothes!

I love Emily's relationship with multi-millionaire Nolan Ross -- hopefully Nolan remains loyal to her, I think she really needs his help to ensure her plans go smoothly.

Oh and Revenge fans, are you Team Daniel or Team Jack? ;)

5. The Secret Circle -

I just recently started watching The Secret Circle episodes online, and I am hooked!

The outfits worn by The Secret Circle girls can be easily recreated -- leather jackets, cardigans, boots, etc.

I have six more episodes to watch before I am all caught up.

Out of all these characters, I think I dress the most like Jess (I love skirts, dresses, and ballet flats!). I'd love to be as polished as Lemon always is, but I should take some style tips from Zoe. This winter, I want to wear boots like the ones worn by The Secret Circle girls. I should stock up on cocktail dresses à la Emily and Ashley. And when I am older, I want to dress like Bridget/ Siobhan. ;)

What about you? Whose style is closest to yours?
Who's on your list of the most stylish TV characters (besides Blair and Serena, of course, haha!)?

Have a fantastic weekend, everyone! :D

HAPPY DECEMBER!!! :D

HAPPY 1st DAY OF DECEMBER!!!

Isn't it crazy?!
December is finally here!

Time to take out the Christmas decorations!

Pinned Image

I think this picture is so beautiful!
Seeing that child admiring the Christmas tree reminds me of the time when I used to do that.
I always look forward to what my Mom's Christmas decorations would look like -- she has a different theme and color combination every year. I wonder what it will be for 2011...
Gosh, I miss being a kid. ;)
