Review: Kushyfoot Sandal Flats To Go®!

Happy Friday!!!

Around this time three years ago, I was at my senior prom -- oh, how time flies!
I wouldn't have done anything differently... well, maybe one thing: I wish I had a pair of Kushyfoot Flats To Go, haha!

I had such a great time, but my feet were pretty much killing me by the end of the night (but I persevered, and no, I did not go barefoot, haha!). It would have been so awesome to have flats-to-go, though. ;)

Kushyfoot never ceases to amaze me with their many products all aimed to bring comfort to our feet!
I was sent their new Sandal Flats To Go to review and share with you guys:

Photobucket
You know how much I love receiving packages! ;)

The ballet flats were really cool, so imagine my delight when I opened the package and saw sandals-to-go!!!

Photobucket

Fun, right?!

Photobucket

Like the ballet flats, these come in a plastic carrier -- keep it in your bag, in your car, or your desk drawer.

Photobucket

NEW Sandal Flats-To-Go®! Soft, flexible faux leather Flats-To-Go® are an instant and elegant solution to a perennial need for the relief of sore heels, blisters, and scrunched up toes. They're still lightweight and portable -- perfect for the desk drawer, car, or purse - but now the toes, sides, and back are open. The 3-dimensional wavy sole cushions and massages the foot as the wearer walks --perfect for indoor and smooth outdoor surfaces. They slip neatly and easily into their owner's purse, folded into a cute clear plastic carrier with its own little handles. 1 pack per order.

Price: $9.99 per pair
Sizes: 5/6, 7/8, 9/10
Colors: Cream and Slate

Like the ballet flats-to-go, these are a relief to wear after hours of wearing heels.
The thing I love about this is it allows your feet to breathe. And from afar, they look like real sandals!

Sadly though, they are not real sandals -- the soles are quite thin.
These are not made for long wear, they are solely (pun not intended, I promise, haha!) for bringing comfort to your feet after a night or a day of looking fab in heels. (Kushyfoot also suggests using these for when you get pedicures!) ;)

Along with these Sandal Flats To Go, Kushyfoot also released their Open-Toe Flats To Go:

These are also sold for $9.99 and are available in the same sizes.

If you have an event to attend that would require you to wear heels -- prom, weddings, etc. -- or even just for everyday, I recommend you get a pair of flats-to-go. :)

Visit www.kushyfoot.com to check out their other feet-friendly products.

Have you bought anything from Kushyfoot? Thoughts?
Do you have a pair of flats-to-go?

I wish everyone a happy, happy weekend!!!

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

It's wedding season once again, but really, weddings are year-round, don't you think?
Bridal Guide thinks so too, so here are 12 gorgeous wedding dresses for each month of the year:

January -- PARTY ON!

Celebrate new beginnings in a sparkling A-line gown fashioned from French tulle and chiffon and embellished with bugle beads, Swarovski crystals, and sequins. We especially love the charming grosgrain ribbon at the empire waist.

February -- GOTTA HAVE HEART

Rev up the romance with a Valentine's Day wedding. This sexy silk dupioni and tulle body-hugging mermaid features a hand-draped bodice, beaded floral sash, and tiered skirt. A red rose bouquet is the perfect finishing touch for your heartwarming affair.

March -- FREE SPIRIT

Spring is in the air and this adorable silk tulle, organza, and taffeta tea-length ballgown will ensure you have an extra bounce to your step. An illusion bateau neckline and a bodice crafted from floral appliqued organza give it retro-chic appeal.

April -- FRESH PICK

Photobucket

April showers promise fabulous flowers: Embrace the season with a lush capelet of soft net blossoms over a satin A-line gown. The gown's net overlay enhances this flower-child ensemble while the crystal, pearl, and rhinestone belt ups the style quotient.

May -- MAY QUEEN

Photobucket

You'll be a blooming bride in this blush-hued tulle and silk organza A-line gown. This garden-gorgeous dress boasts hand-cut silk organza flowers and a dramatic ruffled tulle hem atop an alluring floral strewn cathedral-length train.

June -- WEDDING SEASON

June's bride is the embodiment of classic beauty and grace. Honor this month with an embroidered Chantilly lace modified A-line gown featuring an illusion V-neckline and cap sleeves. A pretty ribbon sash defines the waist.

July -- SUMMER LOVIN'

Photobucket

"Baby, you're a firework!" Sparks will fly when you wear this sultry figure-flattering mermaid fashioned from silver sequined lace and ivory tulle.

August -- TROPICAL PUNCH

Photobucket

Having a heat wave? You'll look impeccably cool and chic in this strapless chiffon sheath. Vertical pleats and a striking black satin belt accented with flowers lend a sophisticated spin.

September -- HAUTE AUTUMN

Photobucket

Show off your passion for fashion in this satin-faced organza A-line gown with an origami-draped bodice and billowing draped skirt. Up the edge factor by pairing the look with an ebony horsehair sash with an asymmetrically knotted bow.

October -- TRICK OR TREAT

Photobucket

Unmask your flirty side in this alluring organza mermaid. With all-over ruching and a ruffled peplum, this seductive gown is sure to have a spellbinding effect.

November -- SNOW WHITE

Photobucket

Add va-va-voom glamour to your winter wedding look with a sprinkling of frosty sparkle. This ruffled organza ballgown will dazzle with its corset bodice embellished with shimmering Swarovski crystals and ornate embroidery.

December -- WINTER WONDERLAND

Photobucket

Combine snuggle with sexy in a luxe marabou jacket over a princess-worthy ballgown. Lavish embroidery on the illusion bodice and sheer long sleeves atop a full tulle skirt perfectly capture the magic of the season.

They are all gorgeous, aren't they? :)
My absolute favorite has to be April, and May comes in second -- I love how delicate and feminine they are, so pretty!

What about you? Which ones did you like the most?
In your opinion, when is the best time of the year to get married?

I hope you are all having a great week!

Royal & Langnickel Makeup Brushes

Happy Monday!!!

I can totally feel and smell summer in the air today -- a lot of my friends are now done with the school year (lucky them!), others only have a couple of weeks left, the pool is clean and sparkling, the sun is out, and my favorite TV shows are approaching their season finales...

Anyway, even if I don't like the heat, I am definitely excited for summer. One thing I added to my "things-I-look-forward-to-in-the-summer" list is IMATS. And now that IMATS Los Angeles 2012 is just around the corner, I promised to share with you guys my thoughts on the goodies I got last year. :)

Photobucket

Last week, we talked about my GLAMCOR Professional Glamour First Impression Performance Primer... today, let's talk about my Royal & Langnickel Makeup Brushes!

Royal & Langnickel is a pioneer and recognized leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing superior grade art and beauty brushes with over 60 years of brush-making experience.

Royal & Langnickel started out with art brushes, and eventually expanded their expertise to makeup brushes.
I think it's fitting because makeup is essentially a form of art, right? So who better to manufacture makeup brushes than a company dedicated to making excellent art brushes? :)

Photobucket

I got this beautiful limited edition makeup brush set.
I didn't see this actual makeup brush case on their website (it is limited edition after all, haha!), but they do have the brushes included in this set.

I really love the look of this case -- the design is sleek and classic.

Photobucket

The brushes feature "chrome-plated brass ferrules and kiln-dried hardwood barrel handles" -- they are definitely sturdy and are of excellent quality.

I believe some are made with natural hair, while others are made with synthetic hair (that are made to feel and perform just like natural hair brushes).

Each brush is made perfectly for their specific use.
The handles are sturdy and the brushes are soft = perfect combination, if you ask me. ;)

Photobucket
Powder/ Blush/ Foundation/ Eye Shader/ Angle Shader/ Contour Shadow/ Smudger/ Flat Eyeliner/ Brow/ Pointed Liner/ Brow-Lash Groomer

Out of these 11 brushes, my favorites (and probably the most used, haha!) are the powder and blush brushes.
They are incredibly soft and gentle to the skin.

These brushes are all really amazing, and I am so happy I was given the chance to own a set. :)

Royal & Langnickel offers makeup brush sets -- Brush Essential Sets, Master Pro Sets, Pink Brush Essential Sets, [R]evolution Sets, SILK Pro Sets, and Travel Sets -- at prices ranging from $19.99 (8-piece travel set) to $219.99 (25-piece set).

The brush sets may seem quite expensive at first, but in the long run they are definitely good investments, especially if makeup is a huge part of your routine.

Don't need a brush set? You can also buy brushes individually! ;)
Visit www.royalbrush.com to check out their makeup brushes.

Have you tried any of Royal & Langnickel's makeup brushes?
What makeup brushes are you currently using?

I wish all of you a wonderful week!!!

I found a margarita recipe from Pinterest:

Cinco de Mayo! Cinco de Mayo! Cinco de Mayo!

Margaritas and a magazine sound great, right?! ;)

Review: GLAMCOR Professional Glamour First Impression Performance Primer

Happy Thursday!

May means June is just around the corner... and that means IMATS Los Angeles is also just around the corner! :)

Photobucket

I just realized that I have some IMATS goodies that I promised I would review for you guys.
It's been almost a year, but better late than never, right? ;)

Let's start with my GLAMCOR Professional Glamour First Impression Performance Primer.

Photobucket

GLAMCOR considers skin primer the most critical step in the makeup application process. Our formula is designed to be the highest performing primer in the industry.

GLAMOUR FIRST IMPRESSION allows foundation to go on smoother and more evenly resulting in better looking and longer-lasting finishes. This product will not compete with foundations, shadows, or other cosmetic product. You will not have that oily shine later in the day, and your makeup payoff will increase significantly. It dries quickly (we recommend a dry time of 30 seconds before applying cosmetics on top).

- integrates with foundation
- increases makeup payoff
- quick drying time

Photobucket

Primer isn't really a part of my everyday makeup routine, but when I have extra time in the morning and when I need my makeup to be picture-perfect (for special occasions like parties, graduations, etc.), this really comes in handy!

Primer really does help makeup look better, and I am so lucky that I got this for free at last year's IMATS!

This works really, really well. It makes my skin smooth, which in turn helps makeup go on and stay on better.
It lasts a long time -- a little goes a long way, one pump is usually enough for me.

At first, it felt a bit heavy on the hands, but once I spread it out it wasn't heavy at all -- it's actually lightweight.
It also has a somewhat oily feel, but again, once it is spread out skin absorbs it quickly and the oily feeling goes away.

The formula is gel-like, clear, and unscented.

It can be applied by hand or brush.
I use my hands to put this on, and it works well for me.
However, GLAMCOR recommends using their Contour Brush for optimum performance and results:

The brush is $75 -- it is definitely on my wishlist! I heard that it really works great with the primer.

The primer is sold for $45 on www.glamcor.com.
The price is pretty high (at least for me, haha!), but I think it is definitely worth it -- the primer is excellent and it lasts a long time. It's a product I can see myself using well into the future.

Have you used GLAMCOR Professional Glamour First Impression Performance Primer?
Have you tried anything from GLAMCOR? Which primer are you currently using?

I hope you are all having a great week -- the weekend is almost here! :)
