Happy Wedding Wednesday!
It has been a loooooong time since I last featured a celebrity wedding here on my blog (the last one was Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, hahahaha, let's not even go there!)... so, I definitely have to squeeze in one Wedding Wednesday post tonight! ;)
Earlier today I was quoting lines from one of my favorite movies -- Never Been Kissed -- so I was like, "Ooooooh, I should feature Drew Barrymore's wedding!". And this is perfect timing because Drew and her husband, Will Kopelman, recently welcomed a daughter named Olive! :)
So, now about the wedding:
Drew and Will tied the knot on June 2nd, 2012 at the bride's $5.7 million Mediterranean-style Montecito, California home in front of 190 guests.

The couple went for an "ethereal" party with a "vintage romantic" style.
"The day was perfect. Everyone we love and care about was there." --Drew Barrymore
According to a friend, Drew looked "gorgeous, completely relaxed and beautiful... She was radiant."
I completely agree!
All About Her Look:
THE DRESS -
The groom's dad is the former CEO of Chanel, so it wasn't a surprise that the bride turned to Chanel head designer Karl Lagerfeld for her wedding dress. The legendary designer "put together the actress's pleated muslin and organza gown, which features a skirt embroidered with flowers made of tulle and feathers and a black satin belt. After the ceremony, Barrymore donned a black Chanel tweed jacket to keep warm into the evening."
THE JEWELS -
The bride wore "Chanel fine jewelry, including the Fil de Camelia earrings made of 1.42 carats of diamonds set in white gold, and a vintage Eventail cuff from the brand's Plume collection, with almost 14 carats in white and black diamonds."
THE FLOWERS -
The bride carried a beautiful bouquet of "pink peonies, pink garden roses, and pink spray roses by Velvet Garden."
Judging from the photos and the People cover story, this wedding seems so home-y and so down-to-earth.
I really like how they had a "tepee, blankets, pillows, and a mini movie theater playing Pippi Longstocking and Finding Nemo" for the kids.
Other details:
Drew's close friend, fellow Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz read e.e. cummings' poem, i carry your heart with me.
The newlyweds exited to the Beatles' I Will.
Their first dance song is Band of Horses' No One's Gonna Love You.
Food:
For cocktail hour, they served lobster rolls, pork buns, foie gras on pink peppercorn shortbread, and steak tartare with quail eggs. Beverages featured ice cubes with pansy flowers frozen inside.
For the family-style dinner reception, they served fried chicken, steak, and roast. They also served wines from the bride's own line of Barrymore Wines.
For a late-night snack, they had L.A.'s Taqueria and the Santa Barbara food truck Burger Bus on hand.
That's a lot of food, wow!!! ;)
I love this picture! :D
The newlyweds drove off in a vintage Mercedes convertible adorned with pink roses.
It sounds and looks like such a beautiful wedding, I wish they released more photos! ;)
I've always liked Drew Barrymore and I'm really happy for her -- I guess it's true what they say, third time's the charm! :)
What do you think of Drew and Will's wedding?
