Style Watch: Kate Middleton + Happy Easter!

Hey, guys!
I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend! :D
Ever since Kate Middleton's engagement to Prince William was announced, I noticed that her style has been put into closer inspection. I know some people think her style is boring (ehem, Vivienne Westwood...) and she has some looks that are more miss than hit, but I think that most of the time, her style is classic and beautiful, and fit for a princess. :)

What do you think of the future princess' style?

Oh, and I forgot to ask you guys, did you watch the Lifetime movie William and Kate? I know, I know, it was more bad than good... oh, who am I kidding, it was bad, haha! The proposal scene made me laugh! But the actor who played Prince William is wayyyyy more good-looking than the Prince, don't you think?

Anyways, that's it for today. I wish you all a

!!!
:D

  3. I'm not a fan of those foo foo hats. So matronly. I like her simple monochromatic styles though. Prince Williams hairline thinning makes him look less attractive now.

  4. I think she looks great all the time. Simple but still nice. Hats are fun, I wish we had more chances to wear them here in the states!

as for Kate's style, I agree, it's more of a miss than a hit. I find her whole personality boring.

  12. oh yes--the actor who played the prince in the movie is much better looking, but the movie was pretty blah. and i think kate's style is pretty regular but she does sometimes have some gems--like her hats.

  17. It upsets me when people (like Vivienne) call her style boring. Kate isn't trying to be a fashionista. She's simply a girl who happens to be marrying a prince. There is no reason she should try to be super trendy like Lady Gaga or anyone.

That being said, I think she has very mature and lovely style. She seems very Grace Kelly or Audrey in a way. I've always admired her coats, ever since she started dating Prince William some ten or so years ago...

  23. well, I think her style is suppose to be a bit boring, I mean, she will be QUEEN! you're not gonna see her in some crazy alexander mcqueen outfit I think haha. I like her though :D

  24. i think her style is pretty down-to-earth, which people probably like to see in a princess these days. not my personal fave, but it seems to suit her well :) <3 EverRubyGirl.blogspot.com

  25. Think it takes a lot of restraint to have a classic style like that. I for one are always veering off into a little bit kitchy and trendy. Those feathered hats are really cool though and she does those so well, I'm sure she's spread her wings now.(sorry bad metaphor)

  27. I think her style is very appropriate, just classy, with a touch of trendy, and a bit of old school royalty (with the sometimes outrageous head wear)

    Chic on the Cheap

  29. The most times, her style is a pasterpiece. Some others it is just ok! I think that she never goes wrong.
