Happy Monday!!!
Time is flying by so fast (as usual!) and Valentine's Day is a week from tomorrow!
I don't normally give out Valentine's Day gifts to my Mom, sisters, and best friends... but since I have some extra money to spare, I decided that maybe I should give little gifts this year -- a Hershey bar for each special person in my life, perhaps? After all, they are all my Valentine! ;)
What about you? Are your Valentine's Day gifts ready?
If not, here are some ideas (from www.usmagazine.com) to help you come up with the perfect gift for the special women in your life:
1. Tackle Box (dylanscandybar.com, $24) -
Who wouldn't want to receive a box full of favorite treats from Dylan's Candy Bar?!
My friends and I like to share a heart-shaped cake every Valentine's Day -- maybe this year, we can share this instead. :)
***Bonus Tip: If you want to save more money, you can get different candies and chocolates and put them all in a cute box to share with your friends.***
2. Starbucks Gift Card (starbucks.com, price varies) -
I'm pretty sure everyone would appreciate a Starbucks gift card. ;)
***Bonus Tip: Arrange a Starbucks date with your Mom!***

3. Valentine's Day Collection Nail Polishes (butterlondon.com, $14 each) -
You can't go wrong with nail polish. ;)
(If you want to try a different brand of nail polish, you can check out Dr.'s REMEDY® Valentine's Day Collection.)
***Bonus Tip: Mani/Pedi day with the sisters? I think that's perfect!***
4. Strawberry Champagne Cupcakes (georgetowncupcake.com, $55 per dozen) -
Almost everyone I know wouldn't say no to cupcakes! ;)
***Bonus Tip: I'm sure these are delicious, but if you're looking to save some money while still giving a thoughtful gift, I think you'd be better off baking your own cupcakes -- you can pick the ingredients that will go into them and you can personalize the design!***
5. Valentine's Day Cards (hallmark.com, price varies) -
Nothing beats a simple Valentine's Day card with a handwritten note inside -- let them know you love and appreciate them!
***Bonus Tip: Include something special inside the card -- like a photo of you and the card's recipient, for example.***
I hope you liked these Valentine's Day gift ideas!
Do you have anything to add to this list?

DeleteMy bf and I have a rule that no gifts, just quality time spent together. Our ritual for 3 years now has been to grab a nice bottle of red, some fish and chips and we go and spend time at the river laughing about the past years and getting excited about the future - in saying that though I did cave this year and have bought big red heart chocolates for all my work colleagues haha I loved all your tips though.
