Happy Monday!
How was your weekend?
A couple of weeks ago I shared with you two of the four L'Bri products I got from a giveaway. Today, I am going to feature product #3: L'Bri Body Wash.
Gently cleanse away impurities and pamper your skin with vitamins, botanicals and softening moisturizers. Our wash is Sulfate free and is so safe it can be used even on the delicate, sensitive skin of babies. ($13.75)
Ideal for bath or shower, this enriched body wash gently cleanses away impurities as it pampers the skin with vitamins, botanicals, and softening moisturizers. Leaves the skin feeling smooth, clean, and refreshed.
Directions: Pour onto a sponge or washcloth. For a luxurious skin softening bath, add to running water.
I like this body wash because it really cleanses my skin - you can really feel it - after using this, my skin feels soft and smooth. It smells great, it's so relaxing - the scene that comes to my mind is of me getting a massage by the ocean in Hawaii or something (sadly, without the massage). :/
I wish it was more sudsy, though. I have to put a lot on my body wash puff to get the bubbles I want. I did hear, however, that the less suds a body wash or soap produces, the better. Is that true?
Another thing is the price. At $13.75, it is more expensive than most more-known body wash brands. But, I guess it is worth it if you take how it's all-natural into consideration.
Have you tried this body wash? Is it something you would consider trying?
**If you're interested in L'Bri products, tell me in a comment and I will get back to you with how to purchase them. :)**

In other news, have you seen the invitation to the royal wedding?

Have a great week! :D
I think the price is too much for something that doesn't lather well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review and for posting the invitation!:D

I think it sounds really good! I only really use all natural products and they do tend to be more costly, which is annoying.
ReplyDeleteI will pay more for all natural, maybe the lack of artificial stuff means less suds?

Super cute necklace giveaway!
I wonder if you can turn down an invite if you've been commanded?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds good! I might try it. :D

Great review. I saw the invite online yesterday. Now I'm just waiting to hear who has and has not been invited.
ReplyDeleteThat wash sounds great. The invite looks almost unreal, but for sure there will not be one on my mantle...sadly...
ReplyDeleteGreat review! x
ReplyDeleteMarie-- yeah, the price is a little too steep. :/
ReplyDeleteThe Many Colours of Happiness-- i guess that's the price we have to pay for all natural, huh?
Lemondrop Marie-- that makes sense. :)
Nikki-- hmmm, i don't think anyone would turn down an invite to a royal wedding though. haha. ;)
Carrie-- :D
Dianne-- hahaha. ;)
Sunny&Star-- i've read that elton john, the beckhams, and get this... kanye west (?!) has been invited.
About Last Weekend-- haha, same here! ;)
Sia-- thanks!
Lordy, Lordy, that invite is shore purdy! Can you image....can you imagine just getting one!! :D
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a good product from your review overall.
ReplyDeleteTypically I just use soap as a body wash. When you find one with an amazing scent, it works just as well - especially for someone like me, who has sensitive skin. Great review though!! :)
ReplyDeleteKelly-- i knoooow, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteImogen-- thanks! :)
Erika-- thanks! and i do use soap too, i alternate between the two. :)
I've also read that sudsing isn't necessarily a good thing in a body wash.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried this particualar L'BRI product, but the ones I have I love!
Emy-- they really do have great products! :D
ReplyDeleteHi MiMi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great press regarding L’Bri skin care products. I just became a, independent consultant in April, but have been using the products for 7 years. I have struggled with very oily blemished skin all my life. I’ve tried every product on the market and seen a couple of dermotologists. I was even a guinea pig for Acutane in my high school years. My experience with L’Bri has been life changing. The products have dramatically reduced my pore size and softened the appearance of scars from acne.
As far as the body wash goes, the reason that it does not suds is because it does not contain harsh, drying detergents. It is very hydrating and is very helpful to those that suffer from, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea. Regarding price, sure you can find less expensive products on the market, but read the labels. The first ingredient is probably water, where ours is aloe. They also probably contain waxes, mineral oil, alocohol, synthetic fragrances, and artificial coloring dyes.
Thank you once again, but most of all thank you L’Bri for creating such a wonderful product! I am proud to be part of the team!
