Spring's Top Trends: A Recap

Happy Thursday! :)

I've been totally off this week - yesterday I thought it was Thursday, today I thought it was Wednesday! Weeeeeiiird. And I didn't know that it was American Idol's finale last night, but anyway, yay Scotty! ;)

I am excited that the semester is almost over! One thing I'm gonna miss about going to school though is planning my outfits, haha! But that's okay, there's a whole summer for me to dress up.

These past few months I've really tried to change up my style - I started wearing clothes that I would never even think about wearing before, I started using some of my bolder accessories that I haven't touched in years... And it's fun! :D

What about you, have you been changing up your style?

These magazine pages from People go through Spring's top trends, which I'm pretty sure should spill over to Summer. Are there any new Summer fashion trends?

1. Fun Stripes

I have some white blouses and plain white tees, but I don't have button-downs. I need to get some. :)

3. Bright Colors

I started wearing my colored jeans again, but I have yet to try wearing bright colors a la Camilla Belle.

4. Trouser Jeans

I don't really have trouser jeans, but my sister gave me some of her linen pants that are on the long side - I was able to wear them like high-waist jeans. :)

5. Pretty Florals

I have to get some maxi skirts - but, I am wearing a midi skirt right now. :D

7. Animal Prints

    I love all of these trends, but bright colors are definitely a go-to look for me!

    I don't think i'll be missing on planning my outfits for school. 0.o Deciding what to wear everyday actually stresses me out haha.

    I love to try out coloured jeans!

    it's soo funny cuz the order you have there is the order I was obsessed with that style!! soo I was totally into stripes and then now ive moved of from that and loving the creams/white shirt!! (i just bought a white shirt at H&M ytd!! =O ehhe anddddd actually now im sloving adding more brighter colours into my waredrobe lol... I didn't purposely follow that order lol it just happened to match =]

    I can't do high waited pants, but I just got a great pair of trouser leg white linen pants, and I am in love!!! They feel so fancy and are incredibly comfortable!

    I used to be a very "solids only" person! I'm glad I finally started taking part in patterns - I love florals a lot lately! :) My style has completely changed this past year!

    Another fun post, yay!! I am weary about wearing maxi skirts but I love maxi dresses and bright colors, I have beginning to love now. And lace :D I want to get myself colored jeans but I feel like it makes me look bigger :P but I am looking for some deep red jeans :D thats pretty bold for me! I am not so big on stripes tho, and animal prints. I am trying to try things :) since it's always summer here I am very lucky :D hehe and yay for summer and no school!! ^^

    I love florals & animal prints to death!! :D My style is definitely changing. I used to be pretty plain in the way I dressed but I'm starting to venture out. Sadly, I don't think I could pull off bright colors or maxi dresses 'cause I'm so petite.

    I love these trends, even thought I feel like they are trendy every season, every year. But hey they are just that good.

    As I am sure you've noticed, it's got to be the animal print :))...thanks for your kind comment. I do love all and definitely lack some...some begins I can't fit into anymore (i.e. trouser jeans) :( and some because I'm still trying to find the right, classic one I'll wear over and over.
