Royal & Langnickel Makeup Brushes

Happy Monday!!!

I can totally feel and smell summer in the air today -- a lot of my friends are now done with the school year (lucky them!), others only have a couple of weeks left, the pool is clean and sparkling, the sun is out, and my favorite TV shows are approaching their season finales...

Anyway, even if I don't like the heat, I am definitely excited for summer. One thing I added to my "things-I-look-forward-to-in-the-summer" list is IMATS. And now that IMATS Los Angeles 2012 is just around the corner, I promised to share with you guys my thoughts on the goodies I got last year. :)

Last week, we talked about my GLAMCOR Professional Glamour First Impression Performance Primer... today, let's talk about my Royal & Langnickel Makeup Brushes!

Royal & Langnickel is a pioneer and recognized leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing superior grade art and beauty brushes with over 60 years of brush-making experience.

Royal & Langnickel started out with art brushes, and eventually expanded their expertise to makeup brushes.
I think it's fitting because makeup is essentially a form of art, right? So who better to manufacture makeup brushes than a company dedicated to making excellent art brushes? :)

I got this beautiful limited edition makeup brush set.
I didn't see this actual makeup brush case on their website (it is limited edition after all, haha!), but they do have the brushes included in this set.

I really love the look of this case -- the design is sleek and classic.

The brushes feature "chrome-plated brass ferrules and kiln-dried hardwood barrel handles" -- they are definitely sturdy and are of excellent quality.

I believe some are made with natural hair, while others are made with synthetic hair (that are made to feel and perform just like natural hair brushes).

Each brush is made perfectly for their specific use.
The handles are sturdy and the brushes are soft = perfect combination, if you ask me. ;)

Out of these 11 brushes, my favorites (and probably the most used, haha!) are the powder and blush brushes.
They are incredibly soft and gentle to the skin.

These brushes are all really amazing, and I am so happy I was given the chance to own a set. :)

Royal & Langnickel offers makeup brush sets -- Brush Essential Sets, Master Pro Sets, Pink Brush Essential Sets, [R]evolution Sets, SILK Pro Sets, and Travel Sets -- at prices ranging from $19.99 (8-piece travel set) to $219.99 (25-piece set).

The brush sets may seem quite expensive at first, but in the long run they are definitely good investments, especially if makeup is a huge part of your routine.

Don't need a brush set? You can also buy brushes individually! ;)
Visit www.royalbrush.com to check out their makeup brushes.

Have you tried any of Royal & Langnickel's makeup brushes?
What makeup brushes are you currently using?

I wish all of you a wonderful week!!!

  1. Even though I haven't been to an IMATS before (because I don't live in L.A.) I totally look forward to it anyway. Some great brushes here! Currently, I am using brushes by Sigma.

    1. yeah, that one part is kinda weird, haha. and the thing is, i'm not sure exactly which ones are made with natural hair and which ones are made with synthetic hair...

    2. oh, i looked it up and i think "natural hair" doesn't necessarily mean human hair.
