The Lying Game

I hope you guys had a lovely weekend! :D

It's time to face another week -- back to work, and I know back to school for some of us!
*Sigh* Summer really went by in a blur! :O

ABC Family has a new series based on Sara Shepard's other book series: The Lying Game.

Here is a sneak peek:

Alexandra Chando will play long lost twin sisters Sutton and Emma.

If you've read Shepard's Pretty Little Liars book series, then you'll also probably think that The Lying Game is pretty much the same thing:

Murder. Mystery. Pretty girls. Someone manipulating them.
You get the idea. ;)

When I read the book, my first thought was "Okaaay, here we go again". And it was a bit slow at first, but it did get interesting towards the end.

If you have some time to spare, and you want a book to read for fun, I think The Lying Game is a pretty good choice. The second book in the series, Never Have I Ever recently came out. It's definitely on my list of books to read.

Have you read The Lying Game? What did you think of it? Are you looking forward to the new TV series?

Have a great week ahead! :D

  2. I've read it! I liked it. Although you are right, it is somewhat similar to the PLL series, but it's still scandalous and interesting! I can't wait to watch the show tomorrow! I want to see if it's going to be a hit like PLL is! :D

  12. Hmm, I think I'll look into reading this, but I dunno if I oculd watch the show. Same thing happened with PLL, where I liked the books, but not the show as much.
