Movie Trailer: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Happy Weekend!

Last night, I saw the official trailer of David Fincher's adaptation of the Swedish novel and movie The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Here it is:


Oh man, that was long, wasn't it?
But, it looks amazing!

Rooney Mara's transformation as Lisbeth Salander is unbelievable and extraordinary -- my sister didn't believe me when I told her that's the girl from The Social Network. ;)

I think I am definitely going to see this movie -- I would love to see the differences and similarities between this and the original Swedish version.

    Meri-- i actually really tried to read the book, but i fell asleep each time, so i decided to read it some other time in the future. all three movies are good though. :)

    Did you see the Swedish version? The Craig Daniel part was played by Michael Nyqvist..who's the bad guy in the Abduction movie.

    ellie-- yup, i saw all three movies. and i totally didn't know michael nyqvist is in abduction. now i gotta see abduction, haha! ;)

    I've got to say when I saw the first film I felt physically ill. I found it extremely offensive and will never watch the rest of the series.

    I haven't read nor watched any of the Millennium things because I'm not very fond of thriller-type stories. I was mostly just surprised that a series from little Sweden where I'm from was such a huge international hit!

    Ally-- yeah, i know what you mean, it was really quite graphic and offensive. but the story is really good that's why i watched the other 2 movies. :)
