The name Vera Wang is almost always synonymous with wedding fashion. Many brides dream of wearing Vera for their big day. Kate Hudson, in the movie Bride Wars, even said that "you don't alter Vera to fit you, you alter yourself to fit Vera".
Here are some of Vera Wang's wedding dresses that caught my eye while looking through her website:
Emmeline
V-neck tissue organza ballgown with illusion corset bodice, and french tulle veiled metallic hand painting, with grosgrain sash at natural waist.

You know I love Vera Wang's gowns... I had a simple but gorgeous strapless one (her design) with a line of satin buttons all the way down the back. If I could do it again I would go for something with lace, I think... it's just so feminine and romantic!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth Faraday-- haha, i figured it out from your profile info. haha. ;)

ReplyDeleteI search everywhere for a Vera dress when I was looking for a wedding dress. I couldn't find any that I loved, and really wanted a one shoulder. Turns out my dress is strapless and nothing like a vera I dreamed of... should have just been patient I regret not getting vera :/
ReplyDeletexo
A Vera is a Vera! You can't go wrong with it! However, I have a feeling, for my big day (sometime in the far off future, under the right circumstances) I won't be able to AFFORD a Vera =) My favorite of the ones you posted is the Evelyn. I tend to like a less poofy look for my frame. Some look GORGEOUS in layered poofs though!
