Wedding Wednesday: Centerpiece

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

I love weddings, as I'm sure most of us do. There's just something really special about weddings -- everyone and everything looks beautiful! Besides the bride's wedding dress and the bridesmaids' dresses, one aspect of weddings I look forward to are the flowers.

I think flowers at the reception add a lot to the feel and look of a wedding. While you can definitely go another way and have something else as a centerpiece, I still tend to like flowers as centerpieces -- the good thing about them is you can decorate and design them in different ways to suit the kind of wedding you want to have. :)

Vintage Mason jars were filled with yellow and white roses and accented with antique owl figurines.

Groups of yellow tulips, craspedia, and green stalks of wheat were placed in their own clear, milk glass, or silver vessels.

Lush, low arrangements of yellow and white roses and green hydrangeas popped on the black-and-white tables.

Low arrangements of pink flowers, like anemones, topped the tables.

Brushed-gold urns held gorgeous arrangements of pink roses and hydrangeas in varying heights to give the room depth.

Silver bowls and urns were filled with pink peonies, roses, hydrangeas, lisianthus, tulips, coxcomb and clematis, and placed throughout the room.

Lush arrangements of white roses, light pink roses, sahara roses, spray roses, pink hypericum berries, and astilbe decorated some of the reception tables.

Blue-green linens with a shiny swirl pattern perfectly matched Alicia’s vision. Large black urns filled with cream-colored roses and hydrangeas topped every table. To complete the look, soft candlelight reflected off of crystals that hung from black paint...

Clear glass vases displayed a variety of fall-colored flowers like orange and yellow roses and mango calla lilies. Clusters of candles added extra warmth to the seasonal table settings.

The couple decorated the long tables with rows of glass tealight holders and low arrangements of red roses.

Such beautiful flowers! I love them all, but if I were to choose, I think the last one is my favorite. Although yellow is my favorite color (and I would probably want to have yellow flowers), I can't deny that red roses are just soooo beautiful!

Which of these ten centerpiece arrangements is/are your favorite/s? What are your favorite flowers?
