Creme of Nature Argan Oil Gloss & Shine Polisher

Happy Thursday! :)

On Monday, we talked about chic bobs and how to take care of that particular hairstyle.
Well, what about just hair in general, right?

When it comes to hair, I think the right texture is an important thing to have.

Here are some styling tips, products, and tools used by hair pros:

Photobucket

Frizz Fighter - Suave Professionals Sleek Anti-Frizz Cream
Three-Barrel Waver - Gold 'n Hot Jumbo Ceramic Triple Barrel Waver
Soft-Hold Hair Spray - Byron Spirulina Hair Spray
Curling Rod - Paul Mitchell Express Ion Curl Clipless
Lightweight Oil - Moroccanoil Light Treatment
Thickening Mousse - Living Proof Full Thickening Mousse
Diffuser - T3 Featherweight Luxe Dryer

I have an anti-frizz cream, a soft-hold hair spray, a clipless curling wand, argan oil, and an amazing hair dryer.
What about you? Do you have any products similar to the ones mentioned above?

I've read tons of positive reviews about Morrocanoil, but they cost about $40 each -- and that is just a bit too pricey for me. Fortunately, there is a fantastic alternative for it!

Creme of Nature Argan Oil Gloss & Shine Polisher

Instantly imparts radiant shine, seals in moisture and creates silky, smooth frizz-free hair. This light-weight formula adds brilliant shine to wet or dry hair and is perfect for daily use.

-Conditions, smoothes, and softens hair
-Infused with certified organic argan oil from Morocco

Directions:
Damp Hair - After shampooing and conditioning, apply a small amount to damp hair and work throughout. Style as usual.
Dry Hair - After styling, to control frizz and for protection, apply a small amount to hair as often as needed.

Price: $7.99 at Walgreens

This is the first argan oil product (besides Moroccanoil, of course) that really really worked well for me. I love it! It is a part of my daily routine -- I apply some to my hair after I shower.

It diminishes frizz and makes my hair soft, smooth, shiny, and healthy.

Even though it is oil, it does not feel greasy at all. It will not weigh your hair down.

A little goes a long way -- I've been using it for three weeks now, and it's still almost full.

I also like to use whatever is left on my hands to moisturize my skin.

It smells good -- the smell is not overpowering, it's just right.

I also find that the cap makes it so easy to use. I don't know what it's called exactly -- you just press one side and then it opens -- argh, what is it called? Aaahhh, I can't think of the right word/phrase to desribe it, but I'm hoping you get what I mean, haha! ;)

Anyways, not having to unscrew or flip open the cap makes it so much easier to use.

Another thing: I use it to get rid of tangles in my hair. My hair gets tangled a lot, and one time last week, I ran out of conditioner. So I had no choice but to shampoo my hair and not use conditioner. I just knew my hair was gonna be a mess -- luckily, I have this argan oil gloss!!! I applied some to my hair and it got rid of the tangles, it's amazing!

I think it's a great product to have on hand. It's very affordable and it will last you a long time.

Oh and by the way, this product won a beauty award!

That can only mean one thing, right? It means it's reeeeallllyyy good. ;)

Have you tried Creme of Nature Argan Oil Gloss & Shine Polisher? Is it a product you might want to try? What brand of argan oil do you use?

  2. This post reminds me I really need a hair cut!!!

Great informative post though :) I might give that Argan oil a go (my phone keeps autocorrecting that to Margaret oil!!). I swear since I moved to Canada my hair has been frizzier. I don't know if its the water or the climate or what, but I need to tame it!!

  7. I honestly don't 'take care' of my hair lol
I wash, shampoo, condition the roots, and blow dry :)
but I finally gave in to my frizziness and bought
this smoothing hair balm from 100% pure. I just
posted about it today and I'm loving it so far!

and I only brush my hair once a day ><

and no conditioner = dry tangled hair! I agree lol

  11. Great tips! I just bought a tub of Ojon restorative treatment, and used it for the first time today. My hair was super SUPER SUPER friend from bleaching and way too much heat styling. To the point that it had started to lose it's natural wave...but the Ojon seems to have helped, even after using it once...we'll see how it goes after a few more uses! I've never tried Morrocan Oil before, but I definitely want to give it a try.

    Great post!
